Job Overview

Build the FHIR-compliant APIs and data integration layer that connects Lumenix Health's AI platform to hospital EHR systems across Canada. You will work closely with clinical informatics specialists and security engineers to deliver a robust, HL7-certified integration platform.

What you'll do

• Design and implement FHIR R4-compliant REST APIs
• Build EHR integration connectors for Epic, MEDITECH, and Cerner
• Ensure APIs meet PHIPA, HIPAA, and SOC 2 compliance requirements
• Write comprehensive integration tests and API documentation
• Work directly with hospital IT teams during integration deployments

What you'll need

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Proficiency in Python (FastAPI or Django) or Node.js
• Understanding of HL7 FHIR standards is a strong asset
• Experience with API design, versioning, and documentation (OpenAPI)
• Comfort working in a regulated, security-sensitive environment
