Job Overview

Shape the checkout experience for millions of buyers across Shopify-powered storefronts. You will conduct research, design high-fidelity prototypes, and collaborate with engineering to ship polished, accessible, and conversion-optimised checkout flows.

What you'll do

• Lead design for new checkout features from discovery to launch
• Conduct usability testing and synthesize findings into actionable improvements
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers
• Contribute to and maintain the Shopify Design System
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design across the team

What you'll need

• 3+ years of UX or product design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process
• Proficiency in Figma
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
