Shape the checkout experience for millions of buyers across Shopify-powered storefronts. You will conduct research, design high-fidelity prototypes, and collaborate with engineering to ship polished, accessible, and conversion-optimised checkout flows.
What you'll do
- Lead design for new checkout features from discovery to launch
- Conduct usability testing and synthesize findings into actionable improvements
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers
- Contribute to and maintain the Shopify Design System
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design across the team
What you'll need
- 3+ years of UX or product design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process
- Proficiency in Figma
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
