Job Overview

Modernize Sun Life's infrastructure on AWS. You will work on infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native observability, enabling development teams to ship features faster while maintaining the security and compliance posture required for a regulated financial institution.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS best practices
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for 50+ development teams
• Implement observability solutions (logging, metrics, tracing) with Datadog and OpenTelemetry
• Enforce cloud security posture and support SOC 2 / OSFI compliance
• Provide cloud enablement support and training to development teams

What you'll need

• 3+ years of cloud engineering or DevOps experience
• Hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda, IAM)
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
• Experience with Kubernetes in production
• Understanding of security and compliance requirements in financial services
