Apply your actuarial expertise to price and manage risk for Sun Life's Group Benefits book of business—one of Canada's largest employer-sponsored benefit programs. You will work on sophisticated pricing models, regulatory filings, and strategic risk initiatives.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain pricing models for group disability and life products
- Prepare and file actuarial reserves and regulatory submissions
- Conduct experience studies and update pricing assumptions
- Support M&A due diligence and block transfer analysis
- Mentor junior actuaries and review their work
What you'll need
- FSA or FCIA designation (or near-completion)
- 5+ years of actuarial experience in group benefits or life insurance
- Proficiency in actuarial modelling tools and Excel/VBA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior leaders
