Build the Wealthsimple Invest experience used by over 3 million Canadians to grow their wealth. You will craft high-performance, accessible React applications that make investing effortless for beginners and sophisticated investors alike.

What you'll do

Lead frontend development for Wealthsimple Invest's core portfolio and account features
Define frontend architecture patterns adopted across the organization
Run performance audits and drive improvements to Core Web Vitals
Mentor intermediate engineers and conduct meaningful code reviews
Collaborate with designers and backend engineers in cross-functional squads

What you'll need

5+ years of frontend engineering experience
Expert-level proficiency in React and TypeScript
Experience with GraphQL client libraries (Apollo or Relay)
Strong understanding of web performance and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
Demonstrated ability to lead complex frontend projects
