Job Overview
One full time working parent who is a university professor and the other is part-time/on-call who works in theatre, film, and tv. We are in need of an occasional sitter for our 10 month baby, usually during the day but possibly some evenings as well. Hours will be irregular based on one parents on-call work schedule.
What you'll do
- Provide childcare for 10 month old infant
- Ensure child safety and well-being
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Assist with diaper changes and feeding
- Engage in age-appropriate play and activities
- Maintain clean and safe environment
- Communicate with parents about child's day
What you'll need
- Experience caring for infants
- Ability to work irregular hours
- Availability for daytime and occasional evening shifts
- Reliable transportation to Toronto
- Background in childcare preferred
