What you'll do
- Oversee all accounting and financial operations
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Manage accounting team and staff
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures
- Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting
- Manage general ledger and accounts reconciliation
- Prepare budgets and forecasts
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Liaise with external auditors and tax professionals
What you'll need
- CPA or equivalent accounting designation
- 10+ years of accounting/finance experience
- 5+ years in controller or senior accounting role
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience with financial reporting and controls
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems
- Experience managing accounting team
- Knowledge of real estate or fintech industry preferred
