What you'll do
- Manage all financial accounting operations
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Manage general ledger and journal entries
- Develop and maintain internal controls
- Create and monitor budgets
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Direct accounting staff and prepare payroll
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to management
What you'll need
- CPA or equivalent accounting certification preferred
- 7+ years of accounting/finance experience
- 3+ years in a controller or senior accounting role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency with accounting software
- Knowledge of logistics/transportation industry preferred
