What you'll do
- Oversee financial planning and budgeting processes
- Manage financial reporting and accounting operations
- Lead fundraising and grant strategy initiatives
- Supervise finance department staff
- Ensure compliance with charity regulations and reporting requirements
- Develop financial policies and procedures
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Manage cash flow and revenue diversification across memberships, education programs, and donations
What you'll need
- Experience in non-profit financial management
- Strong understanding of non-profit revenue models (memberships, donations, grants, education programs)
- Leadership experience managing finance teams
- Knowledge of Canadian charity regulations and compliance
