What you'll do
- Provide emergency veterinary care to animals
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
- Assist veterinarians with emergency cases
- Monitor patient vital signs and status
- Perform laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Maintain medical records and documentation
- Support emergency triage procedures
- Work in fast-paced, high-stress emergency environment
- Care for exotic animals as needed
What you'll need
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential
- Professional license in Ontario
- Experience in emergency veterinary medicine
- Ability to work 24/7 schedule
- Ability to work onsite in hospital
- Comfort handling exotic animals
