What you'll do
- Provide direct patient care on acute spinal unit
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Perform wound care and dressing changes
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
- Support quality of care initiatives
- Adhere to minimum nurse-to-patient ratios
What you'll need
- Valid LPN license in British Columbia
- Acute care nursing experience
- Knowledge of spinal care procedures
- Ability to work within nurse-to-patient ratio guidelines
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and move patients
