Job Overview

Build the AI systems that help clinicians make faster, more accurate diagnoses. As an ML Engineer at Lumenix Health, you will train, evaluate, and deploy large language models and multimodal AI systems on de-identified patient data in a Health Canada compliant environment.

What you'll do

• Fine-tune and evaluate LLMs on clinical notes and medical literature
• Build data pipelines for processing de-identified patient records
• Deploy and monitor ML models in a PHIPA-compliant AWS environment
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to define model requirements
• Write technical documentation and contribute to research publications

What you'll need

• 3+ years of machine learning engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience fine-tuning large language models (GPT, LLaMA, or similar)
• Knowledge of ML deployment best practices (MLflow, model serving)
• Interest in healthcare AI and clinical NLP
