What you'll do

  • Provide direct patient care in mental health and substance use settings
  • Implement minimum nurse to patient ratios
  • Assess and monitor patient mental health and substance use needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Support quality of care initiatives
  • Contribute to strengthening nursing practice

What you'll need

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) license
  • Valid provincial registration
  • Mental health or substance use nursing experience
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches
