What you'll do
- Provide therapeutic counselling services to community-referred individuals
- Support individuals impacted by family and domestic violence
- Deliver trauma-informed services using evidence-based modalities
- Collaborate with outreach team members
- Partner with community organizations
- Assess client needs and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Contribute to the Equally Safe initiative
What you'll need
- Clinical counselling qualification or relevant mental health credential
- Experience working with domestic violence survivors
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice
- Understanding of family and domestic violence dynamics
- Ability to work collaboratively with community partners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in community-based settings
