OVERVIEW To apply the most current techniques and knowledge for the processing of sterile products in order to provide high quality service in the supply of med-surgical products and instrumentation to user areas. Responsible for decontamination, reprocessing and sterilization of equipment, supplies and surgical instrumentation. What you'll do
- Apply current techniques and knowledge for processing sterile products
- Provide high quality service in supply of med-surgical products and instrumentation
- Perform decontamination of equipment, supplies and surgical instrumentation
- Conduct reprocessing of medical devices
- Execute sterilization of equipment, supplies and surgical instrumentation
- Distribute supplies to user areas
What you'll need
- Minimum grade 12 or equivalent
- MDRD certification from accredited college
- Certification completed within last 2 years
