What you'll do
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct safety audits and inspections across North American facilities
- Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses
- Provide safety training to employees
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
- Monitor and maintain safety performance metrics
- Collaborate with management to improve safety culture
- Manage safety documentation and records
What you'll need
- Occupational Health and Safety certification or equivalent
- Experience in safety management or related field
- Knowledge of North American safety regulations and standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
