What you'll do
- Create and implement high-quality gameplay animations for AI characters
- Develop animation systems and state machines for character behavior
- Collaborate with AI programmers and game designers on character mechanics
- Optimize animation performance across platforms
- Mentor junior animators
- Iterate on animations based on gameplay feedback
- Document animation specifications and best practices
- Integrate motion capture data into game systems
What you'll need
- Proven experience in gameplay animation
- Expertise in AI animation systems
- Strong portfolio demonstrating animation quality
- Proficiency with animation tools and game engines
- Understanding of game development pipelines
- Experience with character rigging and skeletal animation
- Knowledge of motion capture workflows
- Problem-solving and optimization skills
