What you'll do
- Design and implement threat detection strategies
- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts
- Respond to and investigate security incidents
- Develop and maintain detection rules and signatures
- Collaborate with incident response teams
- Conduct threat intelligence analysis
- Provide recommendations to improve security posture
- Document findings and create reports
- Mentor junior security engineers
What you'll need
- Advanced experience in threat detection and incident response
- Expertise with SIEM platforms and security tools
- Strong understanding of network and endpoint security
- Knowledge of attack methodologies and threat landscapes
- Experience with log analysis and security monitoring
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, GCIH, GIAC, or similar)
- Ability to work in 24/7 SOC environment or on-call rotation
