What you'll do
- Provide emergency and critical care support to animals
- Monitor and maintain ICU patients
- Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures
- Perform laboratory and diagnostic procedures
- Maintain medical records and patient documentation
- Prepare equipment and medications
- Provide compassionate care to animals and support to pet owners during emergencies
- Work flexible schedules including overnight shifts
What you'll need
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification
- Valid RVT license in Alberta
- Experience in emergency or ICU settings preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including overnight hours
- Physical ability to handle animals and equipment
