What you'll do
- Develop and deliver recreational and therapeutic activities for residents
- Assess patient needs and create individualized recreation plans
- Facilitate group activities and social programs
- Maintain patient dignity and support personal growth
- Document and monitor therapeutic outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Promote health and wellness through meaningful engagement
What you'll need
- Recreation therapy certification or equivalent
- Knowledge of therapeutic recreation principles
- Ability to work in continuing care settings
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist patients and participate in activities
