What you'll do
- Evaluate construction-related insurance applications
- Assess risk factors for mid-size and large Canadian companies
- Underwrite commercial insurance policies
- Review and analyze construction documentation
- Make underwriting decisions on policy approval
- Manage construction accounts
- Report to Head of Construction
- Service clients with Canadian, North American, and multinational risks
What you'll need
- Experience in construction underwriting or related field
- Knowledge of construction industry risks
- Understanding of commercial insurance products
- Strong analytical skills
- Regulatory compliance knowledge
- Professional designations preferred (e.g., CIP, CAIB)
