What you'll do
- Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images
- Position patients for accurate radiographic imaging
- Maintain radiation safety standards
- Ensure image quality and patient safety
- Document imaging procedures accurately
- Communicate with patients to reduce anxiety
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment
What you'll need
- X-ray technologist certification/licensure
- Experience in diagnostic imaging
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to work in healthcare settings
